Reina Sofía is the southern vertex of the Madrid Art Triangle, which includes two other famous museums: the Prado and the Thyssen-Bornemisza.
It has a permanent exhibition composed of work by incredible Spanish artists of the 20th century, of which Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí and Joan Miró are widely represented with some of their best works.
In addition, avant-garde collections of surrealist, cubist and expressionist art are here to be discovered too.
