The Botanical Garden is located in the Hacienda de la Concepción, thanks to the union of the Loring couple, who on their honeymoon visited several gardens and upon arriving in Malaga, decided to combine farms on the banks of the Guadalmedina River in the north of the city and create their own Botanical Garden.
To create the garden they had the help of the French landscape designer Jacinto Chaomussent, who selected and acclimatized exotic plants, even winning several awards for his work.
