Real Fábrica de Tabacos

The building was constructed in the 18. Century to be the headquarters of the first factory of tobacco in Europe. One of the biggest and brilliant representations of the industrial architecture and at the same time one of the oldest in Europe which is still well preserved.

1959 it was named as a cultural heritage in the category of historical monuments, later on since the middle of the 20 th century, the rectors office of the University of Seville is based there housing some of its faculties.
